Wanna drink?

Prima o poi questa sbandata per gli anni 20 passerà. Perlomeno è quel che mi auguro, dato che ora sono nell'occhio del ciclone..e non riesco a pensare a niente che non abbia frange, pelo, lustrini e paillettes.....
Ergo per cui siccome, mentre cerco di capire come curare questa "deliranza", voi dovete sopportarmi.

Sooner or later this crush on the 20s will cease. At least this is what I wish for, since now I'm in the storm centre and I can't even think about something without fringes, furs, sequins and paillettes....
Soooooooo, while I'm trying to get how to heal this "disease", you should bear me.

Some art down to the river....

 Ciao mondo, oggi mi dò al reportage!! Ieri è stata organizzata dall'Associazione artisti bassa bresciana, una splendida iniziativa: arte al fiume. A Fiesse (BS) è stata allestita una mostra sul tema "le stagioni nella bassa"lungo l'argine del fiume Gambera, in un contesto bucolico moooolto pittoresco, partecipavo anch'io ;). Dato il tempo avverso ( tanto per usare un eufemismo) degli ultimi giorni, si è temuto fino all'ultimo di non poter allestire una cippa, invece ieri è uscito un timido solettino che ha contrastato le folate di aria gelata che hanno provocato qualche disastro (per esempio la rottura della cornice di un quadro esposto).
Ogni artista aveva un suo spazio espositivo, e durante il pomeriggio un sacco di persone con ogni tecnica si sono dilettate nell'en plein air....
Ah, quasi mi dimenticavo di menzionare i veri protagonisti dell'evento: i gatti panzoni che si rotolavano spanciati tra i cavalletti come se niente fosse, che facevano le fusa alle cornici, e che a tradimento ti saltavano nel piatto per leccarsi ben bene tutta la marmellata della crostata (l'ultima fetta, naturalmente).......!

Hello world, today I'm a news reporter ;)! Yesterday the Organization of the Brescia's artists arrangend a wonderful initiative: Art down to the river. In Fiesse (Brescia area, Italy) they set up an exhibition on the theme "The seasons", along the Gambera river bank, in a bucolic setting reeeeeeally picturesque, I was in too. Since the hostile (just to use an euphemism) weather of the last days, they feared till the very last not to be able to arrange anything; but yesterday a shy sun came up, facing the frozen gusts of wind which, actually, made some damages...like breaking the frame of a painting.
Each artist had his own space to arrange his works and during the afternoon, lots of people had fun painting en plein air..
Ah, I almost forgot to mention the real protagonists of the whole event.....the fatty cats that rolled over between the easels with innocent look, purred to the frames and jumped into your plate to lick the jam of the cake you had there (the last piece, of course)........!

Ciao mondo, vorrei tranquillizzarvi sul fatto che  nonostante la mia blog-assenza, non sono morta. E che, tanto per cambiare, ho un po' giocato con gli acrilici su tela........Non ci crederete, ma mi è apparso in sogno Modigliani che mi comandava di fare un ritratto.....Ok, FORSE la visione dello speciale di canale 5 sul caso Ruby mi è rimasto sullo stomaco e ha inciso sulla mia qualità del sonno, ma questo è quanto. Pennelli e colori alla mano ero decisa a combinare qualcosa....questo è quello che è uscito...Il mio "ritratto di signora"!

Hello world, don't worry, although my blog-abscence I'm not dead. And for a change, I played a little bit with my acrylics on canvas...You will never believe it, but I dreamed of Modigliani himself ordering me to paint a portrait....Ok, MAYBE the fact I saw Berlusconi's tv show about his "truth" on his Ruby-gate trial, affected my sleeping quality...but that's it. Brushes and colors in hand I was determined to conclude something....so...that's it...My portrait of a lady!
