How inspiration works...

A volte l'ispirazione ti coglie all'improvviso.
A volte (solitamente quando ne hai più bisogno) la cerchi ma non c'è verso di stanarla.
A volte ti travolge troppo in fretta perché tu riesca a metabolizzare le idee.
A volte credi che sia ispirazione e invece è solo il delirio da influenza.
Comunque la si veda, spesso le idee possono arrivare 1) senza preavviso 2) senza seguire una logica razionale (simpatica perifrasi per dire che..beh, vengono semplicemente A CASO)..
Oscar Wilde diceva che il miglior modo di resistere alla tentazione è cedervi, e chi lo sa...forse aveva ragione lui e bisogna imparare a sottomettersi a questo diktat del flusso ispiratore.

Questa idea mi è venuta sfogliando IO donna....sì, in effetti chi l'avrebbe mai detto? ;)


Sometimes inspiration catches you all of a sudden.
Sometimes (usually when you need it the most) you keep on looking for it, but no way you can drive it out.
Sometimes you get overwhelmed too fast in order to organize the ideas you just had.
Sometimes you THINK it's inspiration but it comes out it's just flu delirium.
However you look at it, often the ideas come1) without notice 2) without following a rational logic (nice circumlocution meaning.....they simply come AT RANDOM)...
Oscar Wilde said that the best way to resist a temptation is to surrender to it, and who knows...maybe he was right and we should learn how to submit to this inspirational-flood diktat.

I got THIS idea leafing through IO donna (italian fashion magazine)...

Avete presente "Viale del tramonto"di Billy Wilder?
Beh, se non l'avete visto, appuntatevelo e inseritelo nella lista "cose da fare prima di morire" o semplicemente aggiungetelo quella dei buoni propositi per l'anno nuovo (sì, mi sto riferendo a questo di anno) che immagino starà giacendo ammuffita in qualche angolo della vostra camera.....
A parte che è un film grandioso di suo, regala un sacco di spunti di riflessione ad esempio sulla vita delle star, sul successo.....In effetti avete mai pensato alla fine che tocca a una celebrità che viene dimenticata? Al declino della fama in sé?
Se ci avete fatto ancora un pensierino, beh...questo è il vostro film babies ;)!

Do you know "Sunset Boulevard" by Billy Wilder? Well, if you don't, take note of it and insert it in the things-to-do-before-dying list, or just add it to the things-to-do-on-the-new-year list (yes by "new year"I mean THIS year) which I guess is lying mold somewhere in your bedroom....
Except that it's a just GREAT movie, it gives tons of causes for reflection..like on the life of the stars, on success itself...Actually, have you ever thought about the end of a celebrity getting forgotten? Or about the decline of the fame?
If that's the nature of your thinking ;), you should definitely watch it!

Prima o poi questa sbandata per gli anni 20 passerà. Perlomeno è quel che mi auguro, dato che ora sono nell'occhio del ciclone..e non riesco a pensare a niente che non abbia frange, pelo, lustrini e paillettes.....
Ergo per cui siccome, mentre cerco di capire come curare questa "deliranza", voi dovete sopportarmi.

Sooner or later this crush on the 20s will cease. At least this is what I wish for, since now I'm in the storm centre and I can't even think about something without fringes, furs, sequins and paillettes....
Soooooooo, while I'm trying to get how to heal this "disease", you should bear me.
